Chippenham Park Summer Wedding | Iris & Scott

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, it’s a humbling thing to be asked to photograph a couple who were guests at a previous wedding. Doubly so when it's the brother of a past bride. So it was with Scott, whose sister's wedding I shot way back in 2014 at Chippenham Park wedding venue, just across the county border from Suffolk, into Cambridgeshire.

Having known Scott and his fiancee, Iris, for a while, it was a given that their wedding would be fun. The focus was on a relaxed day rather than stuffy formalities. It was also a pleasure to return to Chippenham Park which is one of my favourite wedding venues. It's a wedding photographer's dream as the gardens and grounds always look immaculate and venue manager Becky and her team ensure everyone is well looked after. Happy guests equal lots of opportunities for candid, reportage wedding photos couples book me for.

There were some lovely touches throughout the day. Iris & Scott's son was a page boy and the couple took advantage of Iris's Dad's vintage VW camper as their wedding day wheels. The evening was rounded off with fireworks by the lake. A fitting end to a fantastic day.
