Supplier Feature | Clare Jones Floral Design

Over the summer, I visited the excellent Suffolk wedding venue, Hengrave Hall for Livvy & Ash’s wedding. It’s been a few years since last shooting at Hengrave and I was really looking forward to my latest visit - it’s a personal favourite and I’ve been lucky enough to be part of some wonderful wedding here over the years.

This latest visit also give me the chance to meet a few suppliers I’d not come across before, amongst them wedding and event florist Clare Jones Floral Design. The bride, Livvy, has a real fondness for flowers and had mentioned the floral arch they’d requested at Hengrave’s chapel so I arrived early to catch a few images of it being prepared. It was also a great chance to meet Clare and say hi!

As you can see in these images, her arrangements have an understated elegance and simplicity which would suit pretty much every setting. Lots of pale roses combined with the texture of gypsophila (also known as ‘baby’s breath’ which is kind of perfect description, isn’t it?).

After the ceremony, Clare moved the tall arrangements from church to the Hall’s Long Gallery where they became the table centres. The flower arch was also moved across to the Hall where it decorated the bannister of the main staircase. Livvy’s bouquet continues with the pastel theme while bridesmaids carried bouquets of more gypsophila.

Here’s a selection of photos showing Clare at work and if you want to see more, why not visit her website: https://clarejonesfloraldesign.co.uk
