Relaxed and informal family photography

It was an honour to have been asked to meet up with Beanie, Chris, baby Otis and Obelix the terrier at Hex Cottage on the Sibton Park estate. The family were staying here to celebrate their wedding anniversary and wanted to mark the occasion with a few photos of their new family.

This was my first visit to Hex Cottage, an off-grid cottage in the grounds of the Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk. There’s no electricity here (yes you read that right), with the cottage lit by candles and heated by open fire. You’d be hard pressed to find a more perfect, romantic and peaceful place to stay for a few nights. Where better to mark your first wedding anniversary, eh?

If you’d like your own relaxed and informal family portrait session, drop me a line. Whether you live here or are visiting the area, a shoot is a brilliant way of preserving your memories of time spent on the Suffolk coast.
